God spoke the world into being. If sound carries that kind of power, could certain tones still awaken freedom and transformation in our lives today? And more importantly—do they fit into a Christian life?
God’s Voice Creates, Sustains, and Heals
The Bible opens with God speaking light into the darkness. His voice didn’t just communicate—it created. Throughout Scripture, His Word sustains life, brings healing, and restores hope. Music, too, has always been woven into worship and renewal. From David’s harp calming Saul to Paul and Silas singing hymns in prison, sound has carried divine power.
This raises an intriguing question: if God designed sound with such influence, could certain tones still carry unique potential for healing and renewal today? That’s the question I began asking back in 2017 when I first encountered the Solfeggio frequencies.
My First Encounter with Solfeggio Healing Music
Back in 2017, I began my journey into the Solfeggio frequencies. I had hurdles to overcome before starting, probably much like any of you. Any good Christian knows that before you embark on utilizing a new strategy that the world is promoted, you have to do due diligence and make sure it isn’t connected to God’s top 10 list of the things He doesn’t like. And any good chiropractic physician knows that what you do with your patients better be verified scientifically and preferably with your own experience yourself. I began investigating these frequencies from these two perspectives.
The setting was prime for people to start thinking that vibrational healing was legitimate. Pulse PEMF was on the therapeutic radar for practitioners who thought outside the box, and red light therapy was starting its ascent. All of these were aspects of frequency healing, but what really caught my attention was songs that were tuned to frequencies that weren’t commonly used by the recording industry called the Solfeggio frequencies. I knew no one who was using them. But through prayer, I was inspired to continue.
My reasoning went like this: God spoke the world into being. If sound carries that kind of power, could certain tones still awaken freedom and transformation in our lives today? It was plausible. We are always told that what we speak out into the world can easily become reality, so what would be the effects of certain frequencies listened to with music? I had already discovered the negative impact of 4G frequencies on my own health. Perhaps “good” frequencies could make a difference.
Whole Tones and the Rediscovery of Ancient Sounds
I decided to give it a try and started listening to a CD series called Whole Tones, created by Michael Tyrell (now deceased) and the Healing Frequency Music Project. The CD box had find 7 different CDs, totaling 2-1/2 hours of transformational music that were said to promote positive, healthy change. Each song was recorded in a unique frequency. I thought back to my Christian upbringing, recalling the many times that prayer songs had shifted my mood and gave me hope. If church music could do this, why couldn’t other music? And what did it have in common with Christianity?
That’s about the time I discovered from Len Horowitz and Dr. Joseph Puleo’s book, Healing Codes from the Biological Apocalypse that each note of the Solfeggio scale was the starting note for hymn to St. John the Baptist and Gregorian chants. Back then, the monks were on to what God was up to. They just never told anyone if you sing with this scale, you could feel a state of bliss. The tuning forks they used were based on the numbers 3, 6, and 9.
Solfeggio Frequencies and Their Effects on the Emotions & Body

Additional frequencies will be discussed in additional parts of this series.
Personal Testimony: Peace in LA Traffic
I listened to these (and the other CDs) on trips to southern California. The 396 Hz frequency became one of my favorite to listen to. 417 was one I began liking after about a month, and 528 Hz left me feeling I was ‘walking with God’. Inspirations and even witty ideas were coming to me at a greater frequency than prior. I began looking forward to these business trips where I could be surrounded by God’s frequencies that were meant to heal us.
From the very first trip, I noticed a deeper calmness than what I felt before. Even after driving through horrendous LA traffic, I arrived at my destination looking and feeling calm and collected – and those I was visiting noticed the difference.
And at the end of the trip, I noticed I didn’t need any downtime before jumping into the next project. The calmness stayed with me. Just from listening to certain songs that had been tuned to particular Solfeggio frequencies.
Scientific Curiosity and Faith Combined
I didn’t have any way of testing the 528 Hz frequency that repairs DNA breaks. However, new tests called DNA adduct tests may be available to the public in the near future. They are used by researchers to detect DNA damage from carcinogens and environmental agents.
Reflection: God Brings Order to Chaos
I found myself wanting a lot more after listening to these CDs with the Solfeggio frequencies. I wanted to continue feeling better – and they made sense to me. We all carry baggage from our past with hidden fear, guilt, and shame. We may not want to address these things with counselors or anyone we are close to, especially since they can look at them through judgmental eyes. But here was a way that God was orchestrating our healing much like bringing order to chaos as He did with His word on the first day of creation.
But there was a gap in listening more often. First of all, as good as the CDs were, I still had my own favorite songs. From my research, I realized that universally, songs aren’t recorded in these frequencies. There had to be a converting tool to do this.
So, Do the Solfeggio Frequencies Fit Into a Christian Life?
After prayer, research, and lived experience, I believe they can—when framed rightly. They are not mystical shortcuts or replacements for God’s Word, but simply tones that can help quiet our hearts and make us more open to His peace, freedom, and renewal. In that way, they become tools—much like hymns, worship songs, or prayer music have always been—that fit beautifully into a Christian walk when paired with Scripture and prayer.
It’s true that some in the sound-healing community have gone off into strange or even unbiblical directions with these tones. That doesn’t invalidate the tones themselves—any more than counterfeit money makes real currency worthless. The key is discernment: using them as simple frequencies for reflection, paired with prayer and Scripture, rather than embracing fringe or mystical claims.”
A Simple Tool for Everyday Worship and Renewal
There is now. A simple browser extension created by Yoav Shalev can be added to computer and retune YouTube or Apple Music. All of it is done by installing the extension and activating a monthly subscription (it’s economical at $10/month), and once the playlist comes up you want to listen to, simply choosing the frequency for the device to retune your music.
After that, it becomes easier. Just listen to your old songs in the new Solfeggio frequency and note how you feel. If you’re human, you can expect similar things that I felt from 396, 417, or 528.
And if you’re Christian, you can do more research on these – but you’ll find no connection to occult practices, Satanic music or dangerous ideologies like Hitler’s propaganda or the Illuminati.
Create a Sacred Space with Sound
If you’ve ever wondered whether music could become a tool for reflection and renewal, I encourage you to try it. Not every song we love is tuned this way, but thanks to Yoav Shalev’s simple re-tuner, you can now retune your own playlists into these Solfeggio frequencies. You can surround yourself with these frequencies all day and night if you choose.
It’s affordable, easy, and—most importantly—it can create a sacred space for you to meet with God. Start with 396, 417, or 528 Hz, and simply notice what shifts. Use it during prayer, while journaling, or even in the middle of a stressful day.
God still speaks through sound. The question is: will you take a moment to listen? Go to MusicRetuner.com .
Stay tuned for Part 2, where we’ll explore 639 Hz, 741 Hz, and 852 Hz frequencies and their Biblical connections.
